Headline sponsored by top legal firm TLT, and held in association with the Silicon Gorge partnership, which has traditionally showcased tech startups from the South West of the UK, the VRWC Showcase will be open only to VR, AR, Merged Media and 360 Content Applications who are looking for between £25k - £2m of investment.
An unprecedented 74 applications were received to pitch at the Showcase in 2017, looking for a total of £53 million, with 19 different countries represented.
Companies that applied were building a range of products in Health, Training, Hardware, 360 Film, Digital Cities, Content Platforms, Retail, Social, Underlying Technology and Games, representing the rapidly expanding utilisation of VR and AR technologies across the globe.
The companies and applications have gone through a strict curation process to be able to pitch to this room of VC and Angel investors on 12th April, during the wider VR World Congress.
